Sharing a Belly Dance Pic

Well, my first belly dance performance was on Saturday. I did a nice, long writeup on it last night, but then this morning I realized I need to convert the format from Open Office to Word (doh!). I will do that after lunch and post it. Also, tomorrow I should have pics of me in costume to share. For now, though, I thought I would share this pic of me taken right after the hafla in street clothes.
Image-Me right after hafla and out of costume. With bindis and fake nose studs (someone asked if my nose was really pierced, ha ha)

Hey Robin very cute, dancing is so wonderful and healthy. Glad your enjoying the dance floor. There is some good dancing here in Beirut. They also have a lot of belly dancing in Cairo. Have fun. Salsa dancing, partnering up with another is highly enjoyable, although can be difficult. Samba is a high energy blast too.

Thank you, Enlight. I would love to watch a "real" belly dance performance in the Middle East. As far as salsa goes, I love salsa music and have been thinking about taking a salsa class. My dance studio has salsa workshops. It sounds like fun.

Salsa dancing is wonderful. If you ever make it out to Cairo, the belly dancing outfits are beautiful, and cheap. I almost bought one for a friend back in CA, although big hassle to ship a package.
